Citrix VPN user troubleshooting
If you cannot get a safenet token response, typically ex: 123-4567, contact the helpdesk@elks.org
In general the PC you are using requires a recent Citrix Receiver to be installed, do you see the Citrix Receiver running in the running tasks section of the screen, lower right? If not review the VPN guidelines and install the receiver
Further troubleshooting is browser specific
Firefox ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Review status of the Firefox Addons, click the menu icon, then add-ons
Citrix ICA Client needs to be set to always activate
Citrix URL-Redirection Helper Plugin needs to be set to always activate
Internet Explorer --------------------------------------------------------
Review status of trusted sites, click Internet Options, security tab, sites button
Make sure *.elks.org is listed as a secure site, add if needed
Look at the Privacy tab. If checked, click settings
If *.elks.org is not listed add it to allowed sites
IE11 does not work well unless compatibility mode is set, make sure Compatibility view is checked under Tools on the Menu Bar
Also, check to verify that *.elks.org is listed as a site you want displayed in compatibility mode
Simply Click Compatibility View Settings and add *.elks.org if it is not listed
